  This was, at one time, my GO TO gas station. I rarely chose any other convenience store. I enjoy the selection, the prices, the really nice rewards program, and the friendly staff (none of whom are to blame for the complaints that I have). Recently, however, I have decided to give up completely due to a series of poor experiences. The last four (4) times I have been to the Broadway Avenue Forest Lake location, there has been a long line of customers waiting all due to computer errors. I would completely understand a busy rush with a limited number of staff to handle it, and I would not be making any complaint if that were the case. But when a computer system fails me that many times in a row on different days and at different times, the problem isn't just temporary. "Oops, the computer crashed" "Oh, darn, my system is frozen yet again." "Corporate knows there are issues, but we can't get any help." Those are the explanations that cashiers are able to give and they have no idea when or if the issue, whatever it may be, will be remedied. Meanwhile, large amounts of time pass as the system is rebooted or customers are directed to another register. All the while, more customers are wishing to make purchases and the check out line grows. Twenty (20) or more minutes later, I am able to make an exit. Also, the credit card machine has twice attempted to decline my purchase due to a bad card......when that was not the case at all. On both occasions, I ran my card a second or even a third time and it finally went through properly. I wish I did not have to say it, but I have had enough of the problems. I expect a wait during a busy time at any store I frequent, and I am willing to patiently in those instances. This issue, however, is all too frequent for me to ignore and it makes me a bit sad because I do enjoy SA. I am certain that I am not the only customer that has experienced these issues and I fear others will also begin to frequent the establishment much less often. I can't blame them.
